Official Role
Founder & CEO at AIDAChip.
Official Bio
Khaled Alashmouny is the founder and CEO of AIDAChip, where he is building multiplayer AI systems for semiconductor engineering teams. In the AI Engineer World’s Fair 2026 program, his work is framed through the AI Architects session 2026 07 01 khaled alashmouny what if your chip design team moved like a single body, which treats chip design as a long-horizon coordination system rather than a domain where a faster single-user copilot is enough. The central problem is organizational: advanced design teams need AI teammates that help engineers, design tools, shared memory, and cross-functional decision-making move with common context and intent. AIDAChip’s role in the conference roster reflects that emphasis, with company leadership focused on applying AI to semiconductor engineering at the team and workflow level, not just to isolated circuit or code assistance. Before founding AIDAChip, Khaled spent 20 years in semiconductor engineering, including 13 years leading analog/mixed-signal design at Apple. He designed circuits shipped in products used by hundreds of millions of people and saw firsthand how even world-class teams lose enormous time to fragmented knowledge, handoff friction, and coordination overhead. Khaled holds 7 patents, published 9 IEEE papers, and earned his PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan. His work sits at the intersection of AI, semiconductor engineering, neuroscience, and organizational systems.
