## Biography
Dr. Han Xiao is the VP of AI at [[elastic|Elastic]]. Han founded Jina AI in 2020 and served as its CEO until its acquisition by [[elastic|Elastic]] (NYSE: ESTC) in October 2025. Before that, he worked on search at Tencent and Zalando. Han created Fashion-MNIST, a widely used computer vision benchmark with 13K+ citations.
