## Biography
Anna is a Developer Advocate at [[stripe|Stripe]] based in Portland, Oregon. Before switching to developer relations, she spent nearly a decade as a software engineer, primarily in the serverless and devtools space. As a Frontend Engineer at AWS, she helped build products simplifying the developer experience. Before switching careers into tech, she also spent a decade working as a writer, translator, and tech journalist. She is passionate about making modern application development accessible to users at all levels, particularly beginners and those from non-traditional backgrounds.
